Kahoot Bot & Auto-Answer Extensions: What Works in 2026
Updated October 19, 2026 · 7 min read
People searching for a “Kahoot bot” usually want one of three very different things: a flooder that fills a game with fake players, a bot that answers questions for them, or an extension that tells them the right answer.
Only the last one improves your own score. This guide explains all three, why flooders get shut down in seconds, and what to look for in a Kahoot auto-answer or solver extension.
“Kahoot bot” means three different things
| Kind of bot | What it does | Helps your score? |
|---|---|---|
| Flooder / spam bot | Joins many fake players (often with silly names) to one game | No |
| Auto-answer / auto-click bot | Picks and clicks an answer for you automatically | Only if its answers are right, and you lose control |
| Answer helper / solver extension (KQH) | Reads the question and highlights the most likely answer; you click | Yes |
Kahoot bot flooders: why they rarely last
Flooders send dozens or hundreds of fake players into a game PIN. It is disruptive, and it is easy to stop: hosts can lock the game, remove players and turn on Kahoot’s friendly nickname generator, and a teacher can simply restart with a new PIN.
More importantly, a flooder never changes how many questions you answer correctly. If your goal is a better score, a flooder is the wrong tool, and it is the kind of “hack” most likely to get a class game cancelled. We do not make or recommend them.
Auto-answer bots vs answer highlighting
Searches like “Kahoot auto answer extension” or “Kahoot auto solver” usually mean a tool that finds the answer for you instantly. There are two designs:
- Auto-click: the bot clicks for you. Convenient, but when the AI guesses wrong it clicks the wrong answer, and on multi-select questions a wrong guess can cost the whole question.
- Highlight (how KQH works): the most likely answer lights up in about a second with a confidence score, and you make the click. You stay in control, and you can ignore a low-confidence guess.
KQH does not click for you
What to check before installing a Kahoot bot extension
- It installs from the Chrome Web Store. Store extensions are reviewed and update automatically. Avoid “unpacked” downloads and anything that asks you to turn on developer mode.
- Its permissions are small. An answer helper needs kahoot.it, not “read and change all your data on all websites”. KQH asks for storage and cookies plus kahoot.it and its own site.
- It never asks for your Kahoot password. Nothing about answering questions requires your Kahoot account.
- It handles more than multiple choice. Multi-select, image, true/false and type-answer questions are common in real quizzes.
- It is honest about limits. If a tool claims it works on every game, including ones where the question is only on the projector, it is not telling the truth.
- It is still maintained. Kahoot changes its pages; check the last update date on the store listing.
